NICHOLAS V. JOHNSON is President of NVJ Consulting, A Diversity-Management Firm, founded in 2001.  The organization focuses on the “people” part of business – the ways in which communication, leadership, motivation and relationships relate to enhance productivity.

Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Albright College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior/Applied Psychology. Mr. Johnson was employed at GPU Energy Inc., an electric utility company, for over nineteen years, progressing from union leadership positions to management positions in Labor Relations and Human Resources as a Consultant. 

A listing of clients have included;  Sovereign Bank (system-wide PA, CA, CT, IN, RI, NH, NJ, NY, MA, MD) Sep 03-Sep 09—conducted over 450 inclusion learning sessions for 7,650 employees on operational and executive levels. While facilitating for Sovereign Bank in 2008, NVJ Consultants received a 96.6% class recommendation rating. In 2009, NVJ Consultants received a 98.4% class recommendation rating.

Additionally, Mr. Johnson was a panelist at the 2009 World Diversity Leadership Summit (WDLS) "Change in the US and Globally”- leverage diversity innovation for competitive advantage, held at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington DC.   Mr. Johnson was also selected to be a moderator of 2010 National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) symposium, topic --creating a competitive advantage in a turbulent economy held in New York City.
